So I'm not very active in this community since so far my pregnancy has been super uneventful. No morning sickness. No weird cravings. No crazy symptoms. Other than a big belly and feeling her move in there, I don't think I'd ever know I was pregnant!

Has been treating me very well. Taryn is an amazing baby and my husband has really surprised me this week. He has definitely gone above and beyond for me and I love him even more for it.

I'm planning a home birth and while I feel well prepared for the birth itself... not so much for what comes afterward. And by that I mean "administrative" stuff mostly. My midwife gave me several forms to complete for the birth certificate, and I know I'll need to call work so I can get my FMLA monies, and call my insurance to put baby on, etc. How ( Read more... )

First of all, I let it slip to my mom that I couldn't afford the Hypnobabies study (she and my dad like to buy us everything we can't, and I hate it) and she ordered it for me. How long after giving birth with no complications with mom or baby do you stay in hospital?

-First, I wanted to post a picture of the daddy diaper bag I made my husband, I screen printed the skunk image and name "London" down the side and sewed the bag together with the front pockets perfectly fitting diapers and a bottle. It didn't come out looking like I'd hoped but my husband assures me he likes it...( ---Picture--- )

I took my 16 day old daughter to the pediatricians office wednesday for a check up, and her cord stump fell off on monday so the dr checked it and stuck a stick looking thing in her bellybutton?
